Suhana Khan Recalled Facing ABUSE From People, Says, ‘I’ve Been Told I’m Ugly Because Of My Skin Tone, By Full-Grown Men And Women’
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is one of the most loved star kids we have in the industry. Today marks Suhana’s 23th birthday and on the occasion, she is receiving sweet shout-outs from her friends and fans on social media. As Suhana turns a year older today, we look back to when the young starlet shut down trolls who bullied her over her looks, skin tone, and height. Suhana gave a befitting reply to people who abused her over her physical appearance.

Back in 2020, Suhana took to her Instagram to hit back at the trolls and shared a bund of mean and hateful comments about her. Alongside the screenshots of abusive messages, Suhana wrote,  “There’s a lot going on right now and this is one of the issues we need to fix! This isn’t just about me, it’s about every young girl/boy who has grown up feeling inferior for absolutely no reason. Here are just a few of the comments made about my appearance. I’ve been told I’m ugly because of my skin tone, by full-grown men and women, since I was 12 years old.” ALSO READ: Suhana Khan Get Brutally TROLLED For Wearing A Short Black Bodycon Dress; Netizens Say, ‘Pory Kapre Phen Leti’

SRK’s daughter added, “Other than the fact that these are actual adults, what’s sad is that we are all Indian, which automatically makes us brown - yes we come in different shades but no matter how much you try to distance yourself from the melanin, you just can’t. Hating on your own people just means that you are painfully insecure.” She ended her note on a positive note saying she is extremely happy about the way she looks and that others should too accept them.

Meanwhile, Suhana was recently in the headlines after she became an Indian ambassador for the beauty brand Maybelline and delivered a speech on the stage with much confidence. Even her proud daddy shared the video of her speech and showered praise on her.

Notably, Suhana is making her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s project ‘The Archies’ which is an adaptation of stories from Archie’s Comics. The Netflix film also marks the debut of Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda and Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor. The first look of Suhana from the same has already been released and the makers will soon announce the release date of the film.
